From Spanish Newspaper: The artist is publishing a new CD called 'Can't Be Tamed' on June 22, and will perform at Rock In Rio Madrid on June 6.
''I don't feel like I've left Hannah Montana behind, it's still a part of me'' Miley confirmed today on her new album's press conference in Madrid. 'Can't Be Tamed' is out on June 22, 2010.
Cyrus told the media that she's trying to build up her own personality and look, even thought she admits she feels ''really proud'' of the character she played on the popular Disney show, cause it's a ''really powerful character that inspired a lot of young girls to pursue their dreams''.
The actress and singer, whom will premiere in Spain her new movie 'The Last Song' isn't ''scared of being known as Hannah Montana by the kids'', since there has been changes in her life that made her grow up, even thought she admitted her fans are still young, they're between 12 and 18.
On her new movie, which premieres on June 4, she plays the role of a teenage girl that, along with her brother, will spend summer with their father, away from their mother. He will try to connect again with his daughter by the only thing they have in common: the music.
The artist will perform this month on the famous festival Rock In Rio-Madrid, in which she'll head a day dedicated to kids. She'll perform on June 6 along with Amy MacDonald, McFly, The Monomes, El Sueño De Morfeo, between others.
According to Cyrus' words, with this album she has receipt an amazing answer from her fans. ''This album has been like a therapy to me, cause I've been able to express what I think and what I feel. It's the most honest album so far, a little more mature, but that still lets me communicate with my fans''
Cyrus admitted she felt more free with this album. ''You can't be liked by everyone, and as my mum tells me, you can't just do what everyone wants you to do, you have to be who you want and should be, that's why I feel proud of what I've done and I don't care what some people think.''
The artist admits being an ''spiritual'' person. As she explained, her religion is based on love and tolerance, because ''that's what this world needs, and that's what I try to tell with my songs.'' In particular, she confirmed she dedicated one of her songs to his best friend and hairdresser, whom is homosexual.
Miley Cyrus confessed one of the things she loves most in her life is traveling, something that she can do thanks to her job. ''It's one of the best things this job has.'' At the same time, she said she loves the photography world, and would love to have more time in the future to practice it.
She won't be able to do a world tour right now because she's about to start filming a new movie. But admitted she'd love to travel more around Europe and visit new places. On the United States, she always has more time to visit the places she performs on.
